71 Pounds Down: I'm Gaining Confidence, Energy, and a Whole New Mindset

I started my journey on July 24th, 2024, and the most recent photo of me is from April 17th, 2025—and let me tell you, the difference is huge. I've lost 71 pounds, but what I’ve gained along the way has been just as important.

One of the best non-scale victories? Buying new clothes that actually fit. That feeling never gets old. I’m moving around so much easier now, and my confidence has skyrocketed. But maybe the biggest change has been in my mental health—I feel more like me again.


At the beginning, I started making changes to my diet with the help of tirzepatide, and just recently I’ve started cleaning up my diet even more and going to the gym. It's a process, and I’m still learning as I go.


My best advice? Stay focused, but don’t beat yourself up when you have a bad day or eat something off-plan. I still have cheat meals—regularly, actually—but I don’t let them derail me. I just say, “Hey, I’ll do better next time.” That mindset has kept me going.


This journey isn’t just about losing weight—it’s about becoming stronger, more confident, and more in control of my life.
