Fuel your progress with purpose this month!
At Emerge, we’re all about setting realistic goals that support your journey—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. That’s why our June challenge is all about one powerful habit: prioritizing protein.
Why Protein?
Protein is one of the most important building blocks in your body. It supports muscle retention, helps control hunger, and promotes better recovery and energy—especially crucial if you're on a GLP-1 medication like tirzepatide.
When you're on a GLP-1, you may naturally eat less—but that makes it even more important to make your meals count. Protein helps ensure your body is getting the nutrients it needs, even if you're consuming fewer calories overall.
The Challenge
🎯 Your goal: Aim for at least 100g of protein per day, 5–7 days per week throughout the month of June.
We know this might feel like a big shift if you’re not used to tracking protein—but don’t worry! This challenge is about progress, not perfection. You’ll still be entered into the challenge just for showing up and doing your best.
What Counts?
All protein-rich foods and supplements count! Think:
Lean meats (chicken, turkey, beef)
Eggs and egg whites
Cottage cheese, Greek yogurt
Protein shakes or powders
Beans, lentils, tofu
High-protein snacks
You don’t need to be perfect—you just need to be mindful.
How to Track
Use our Protein Tracking Calendar to jot down how many grams of protein you eat each day. You can use a food tracker app, your nutrition label skills, or keep it simple with rough estimates. At the end of the week, record how many days you hit (or came close to) the 100g target.
👀 Psst... stay tuned for some easy high-protein meal ideas and snack hacks throughout the month to help you crush your goal!
