Fighting for My Health: My PCOS Journey with Tirzepatide

Recently, I had a doctor’s appointment to discuss tirzepatide being prescribed for my PCOS. Both my doctor and I know it will most likely be rejected, but I’m moving forward so I can appeal and fight for my health.
This was the first time since July 2024 that I’ve had my weight checked, and the results completely blew me away!
I lost 75 pounds in just four months! I’m almost in the 100s club, and I’ve never felt so much relief from my PCOS. I’m absolutely mind-blown and so grateful. 💗
If you’re on a journey like this, take the pictures—you’ll be glad you did!

My Journey So Far
Start weight: 280 pounds
Current weight: 200 pounds
Started: End of June 2024
Goal: 156 pounds (44 pounds to go!)
What’s Worked for Me
I try to eat low-carb and avoid processed foods as much as possible. For exercise, I walk about 13,000 steps a day for work, and I mix in weight training or Pilates a few times a week. I’m also taking metformin alongside my tirzepatide.
My Advice
Everyone’s journey is different. Some people may have to work harder than others, but if you think of this as something you don’t have to work for, you might not get the results you want. Make lifestyle changes. Keep going. Take the pictures. And don’t obsess over the scale. 💗
To my fellow PCOS girlies: this is what we needed the whole damn time! 💅🏻
