From Grief to Growth: Finding Myself Again at 60

I am a 60 year old woman who lost her husband unexpectedly 2 1/2 years ago. After his death, I was so sad and did nothing but sit around and eat sweets because they made me happier. After a year of this “routine”, I realized I had gained 60 lbs. One day a coworker told me that she was having success losing weight through Emerge Weight Loss. I made my initial video and sent it in. I started my weight loss journey Sept. 2024.

It is now December 2025 and I have lost 60 lbs and can get around a lot easier and feel so much healthier! I went from XXL to a Med/Large. I have so much more confidence in myself and my new look that I am now dating my high school sweetheart from 43 yrs ago!!
