Gleauxing and Growing

If you had told me 2 years ago that I'd be where I am today, I probably wouldn't have believed you.

For most of my life, I was told I needed to lose weight. But hearing it from other people never changed anything. The real turning point came when I fractured my femur and decided I wanted a healthier life for me—not because of what anyone else thought, but because I wanted to feel better, have more energy, and be present for my family.

The hardest part wasn't starting. It was the middle. The days when the excitement wore off, progress felt slow, and I wondered if all my hard work was worth it. Those were the moments that truly changed me because I learned that showing up on the hard days matters just as much as celebrating the good ones.

Today, I've lost 125 pounds, but the biggest transformation isn't what you see on the outside. It's how I feel. I move through life with more confidence, more energy, and more gratitude. I love being active with my family, trying new things, and looking in the mirror with kindness instead of criticism. I didn't just change my body—I changed the way I care for myself.

If someone reading this feels stuck or overwhelmed, I want you to know that your story isn't over. You don't have to be perfect. You don't have to have it all figured out. Just keep showing up for yourself, even in small ways. Those little choices add up over time. I'm still growing, still learning, and still choosing myself every day. This journey has reminded me that it's never too late to rewrite your story, and I'm so thankful I finally decided to write mine.

Before Emerge....

Before this journey, I was living life, but I wasn't feeling my best. I was constantly tired, had very little energy, and I knew my health deserved more attention. I wanted to feel stronger, move easier, and have the energy to keep up with my family and everything life was asking of me. The moment everything shifted was when I stopped waiting for the "perfect time" and decided to prioritize my health.

It's never too late to rewrite your story.

My Favorites

No late-night snacks

Late-night snacking was my hardest habit to break. Cutting it out helped me sleep better and wake up feeling more in control of my day and my choices.

8 hours of sleep

I stopped shortchanging my sleep. A solid 8 hours gave me more energy, a steadier mood, and the patience to keep showing up for myself — even on the hard days.

Taking the stairs

One of my easiest wins. Instead of the elevator at work, I started taking the stairs every day. Such a small choice — but those little choices add up, and it made me feel stronger without it ever feeling like a workout.
