In October of 2024 I went to my PCP for a wellness check and was prescribed zepbound. My insurance was a hard no on covering it. I then was prescribed adipex to try as an appetite suppressant. I failed miserably with that. And on top of everything else, I had menopause working against me something fierce. Again I turned to salads, trying to cut back on my eating. But the food noise was always there. Then came the snacking, late night eating, weight gain. I peaked at 229lbs in July of 2025. The first picture was taken the Fourth of July and it hit me like a bus. I am not that person. But how do I find her. How do I find that person with energy, confidence, excitement, joy….

So the research started. And I researched and researched. I asked questions, I read reviews and articles. I listened to what physicians had to say. I was not taking this lightly. There are many, many companies out there who offer “services”, “medications”, “support”. Then I found emerge. They checked all my boxes. So skeptically, I reached out and took a giant leap of faith. It was the best thing I have ever done. It completely changed my life.

My meds have always come on time and exactly what they were supposed to be. I can text and get an answer in a matter of hours. Any questions I have, they have answered. I have always felt completely comfortable. My leap of faith paid off immensely. From August 1st 2025 to January 9th 2026, I have lost 65 lbs. I am almost to my goal and also being supervised by my own personal PCP, who could not be happier for me. The holidays were zero stress about food or eating and I enjoyed them to the fullest! I have my energy back, my joy, I have tremendous confidence, and most importantly….i WANT to be in pictures. My daughter is getting married this year and I can’t wait to buy a dress for this incredibly special day.
