Traveling on GLP-1 Treatment: Your Questions Answered

Just text us ;)

No forms, no paperwork, no emailing your itinerary. Heading out of town, or have a question about your dose day or your shipment? Text support and a person on our team will help.

Text support any time

(305) 930-7387. Save it in your phone before you go.

Texting is for questions and travel plans. For severe symptoms, seek urgent care or emergency help right away.

Before you go

  1. Text support when your plans are set. Mention your dates and time zones if you like, and we'll take it from there.

  2. Ask about your dose day. If it lands on a travel day or crosses time zones, we'll tell you what to do. Please don't guess or double up.

  3. Check your shipment. Make sure your supply arrives before you leave and your address is right. Allow extra days around holidays.

  4. Save the support number. Put it in your phone, and take a screenshot too.

Travel day

Carry it with you

Keep medication in your carry-on, never your checked bag.

At airport security

Tell the officer before screening starts and use a separate bin. Larger amounts of medically necessary liquids are allowed, and so are cooling packs. You can ask not to have liquid medication X-rayed or opened, which may mean extra screening. Rules can change, so check tsa.gov before you fly.

Keep it cool and safe

Follow the storage instructions on your pharmacy label. Keep medication from touching a cooling pack, since freezing can damage it. Never leave it in a parked car, a sunny window, or a hot bag.

By car or abroad

In a car, keep it in the cabin with you. Abroad, check the destination's rules and carry a copy of your prescription.

Enjoy the season

Holidays are about people, food and change. Your care plan can flex with all three.

Plan the plate, not the rules

Start with protein, drink water, and eat slowly. Small, regular meals often feel better than one big meal.

Expect a different rhythm

Travel and rich food can change how you feel. If something feels off, text support instead of waiting.

Keep moving gently

A walk after a meal or a stretch in your room counts.

Be kind to yourself

One celebratory meal doesn't undo your progress. Come back to your routine at the next meal.

If something goes wrong

Medication delayed, left in the heat, or maybe frozen?

Stop. Text Support, and we'll help with next steps.

Need a break?

A pause isn't a goodbye. Text us before you cancel and ask about scheduling a restart. If you're close to your goal, ask about step-down and maintenance options.

Feeling unwell?

Text support. For severe symptoms, seek urgent care or emergency help right away.

This guide is general information, not medical advice. Always follow your care team's instructions and the label from your pharmacy.
